Aiyedatiwa Appoints 32 Permanent Secretaries, Confirms Statutory Officers in Ondo

Ondo State Governor, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the confirmation and appointment of 32 officers as Permanent Secretaries in the Ondo State Civil Service, in a move aimed at strengthening public service efficiency and governance delivery.
The approval covers senior officers drawn from diverse professional and administrative backgrounds, following due process and established civil service guidelines.
Those appointed as Permanent Secretaries include Mrs Tayo Ogundare, Mrs Morayo M. Bayo-Philip, Adeyemi Sule, Mrs Olufunso Tunji-Omoniyi, Olanrewaju Abiodun, Tope Lebile (mni), Stephen R. Aworere, Omotayo Akeju, Olufemi Moyinolorun, Olakunle Ajibade, among others, bringing the total number to thirty-two.
In addition to the Permanent Secretary appointments, Governor Aiyedatiwa also approved the confirmation of Mr Olusola Sunday Ajayi as Statistician-General of Ondo State, and Dr Charles Tunde Ojuolape as Auditor-General for Local Governments, subject to clearance by the Ondo State House of Assembly.
According to the statement, all confirmations and appointments take effect from February 1, 2026, underscoring the Governor’s commitment to continuity and stability in public administration.
The swearing-in ceremony for the newly appointed and confirmed officers will be announced at a later date.
The approvals were conveyed in a press statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.
