Tungba Communications Chairman Congratulates Fayoade Mustapha on Promotion to DIG
The Chairman of Tungba Communications Ltd, Prince Odo Gbolahan, has congratulated AIG Fayoade Adegoke Mustapha (mni, psc, MNIM) on his elevation to the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), describing the promotion as a significant milestone for Nigeria.
The commendation was contained in a statement made available to members of the press by Oladigbo Olalekan, Group Programme Manager, Tungba Communication, Prince Gbolahan, whose media company owns Tungba100.9FM Lagos and Tungba90.3FM Igbajo, said the elevation of Mustapha reflects years of dedicated service, professionalism and commitment within the Nigeria Police Force.
According to the statement, the newly appointed DIG had demonstrated exemplary leadership in his previous role as Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 2 Command, Lagos, where he coordinated security operations across Lagos and Ogun States.
Prince Gbolahan noted that the promotion comes at a critical period when Nigeria is grappling with multifaceted security challenges, expressing optimism that DIG Mustapha would bring his experience and strategic insight to bear in strengthening the country’s internal security architecture.
He described the elevation as a source of pride to the people of Nigeria, stating that the achievement underscores the enduring values of discipline, hard work and integrity.
The Tungba Communications Chairman also commended the Police Service Commission for what he termed a merit-based decision, urging the new DIG to remain resolute, courageous and unwavering in the discharge of his duties.
Prince Gbolahan further assured DIG Mustapha of the goodwill and prayers of his people as he assumes higher responsibility in supporting the Inspector General of Police in ensuring the safety and stability of Nigeria
