The Representative for Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency joined other dignitaries to officially commission the new ultra modern mosque built by the Kuje Amuwo branch of Ansar Ud Deen Society.

In commemorating the historic event, the Society invited a popular Muslim cleric, Alhaji Muyideen Bello to deliver a special lecture. Awards were also presented to prominent personalities that have distinguished themselves in the Society.

A Special Honorary Award was presented to the people-focused Representative, Hon George Adegeye Olawande. This is in appreciation of his selfless contributions to the advancement of humanity.

The highlight of the event was the financial donations towards the newly built ultra modern mosque. In his usual humane and generous attitude, Hon George Adegeye Olawande supported with an undisclosed financial donation to the admiration of invited dignitaries and the general audie
