AFRICAN DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS MEMBERS WERE NOT PART OF THOSE THAT DECAMPED TO APC

Ogun state, Nigeria – The African Democratic Congress in Ogun state has come out to debunk recent claims that the party has followed the SIA vanguard to join the ruling party in the state, the All Progressives Congress (APC). The party’s state chairman, Hon. Matemilola, made it clear that the genuine members of the African Democratic Party (ADC) remain resolute and dedicated to the party.

Recent reports had suggested that the ADC had merged with the APC in Ogun state, but those reports have been proven false. The SIA group, who had decamped to the ADC before the last election, are the ones that have moved back to the APC. The ADC in Ogun state remains a force on its own and is not planning to merge with any other party.

Hon. Matemilola, in his statement, admonished the members of the party to remain faithful to the party and its ideals. The ADC in Ogun state is a party built on strong principles, and those that came to use the party for their own selfish purposes have since left.

The African Democratic Congress remains a formidable political force in Ogun state and will continue to work towards creating a better future for the people of the state. The party remains committed to its values of transparency, accountability, and good governance and will not be swayed by those seeking to exploit the party for their own gain.

The African Democratic Congress in Ogun state urges its members and supporters to remain steadfast in their dedication to the party. The party is dedicated to improving the lives of the people of Ogun state, and it will continue to do so with the support of its members and supporters.
