

Chief Rotimi Makinde, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State and Soludero of Ile-Ife, while featuring in Tungba100.9FM Lagos Politics Naija with Oladigbo Olalekan Efficient has spoken out about the setbacks caused by the ongoing feud between former Governor Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and Minister Gboyega Oyetola.
Chief Rotimi Makinde, who previously served as a member of the 7th National Assembly, acknowledged that both Aregbesola and Oyetola had played significant roles in his political career. He emphasized that he respected them immensely as his elders and found it difficult to take sides in their ongoing dispute, which he believed had negatively impacted the APC in Osun State.
Speaking on the popular political magazine program “Politics Naija” on Tungba100.9FM Lagos anchors by Oladigbo Olalekan and monitor by StarNigerianews.com ,Chief Rotimi Makinde expressed his commitment to working together with all stakeholders, including his “brother,” Senator Iyiola Omisore, for the betterment of the people of Ife and Osun State as a whole.
“I consider both Ogbeni Aregbesola and Mr. Gboyega Oyetola as my elders. Aregbesola was instrumental in my political career, while Oyetola served excellently as the Governor of Osun State. The ongoing feud between them has not been beneficial to the APC party in Osun State, and it is important for us to find common ground and move forward,” Makinde remarked.
When Oladigbo Olalekan Efficient asked if he might consider moving to another Political Party to achieve his political goals, he iterated his unwavering commitment to the Osun APC and its total support to all APC leaders across all level and President Bola Tinubu, expressing optimism that Mr President will lead Nigeria to greater heights. Chief Rotimi Makinde emphasized the need for unity and cohesion within the APC to ensure the party’s success in future elections.
“Our primary focus should be on the progress of our great party, the APC, and the development of our dear nation. It is essential for us to work together, put our differences aside, and forge a path towards a better future for all Nigerians,” he stated.
