LASAA Officials Highlight Agency’s Achievements and Call for Compliance on TungbaFM Network

David Lawal, Olalekan Efficient and Akomolafe after Saturday Special on TungbaFM Network

In a recent appearance on TungbaFM Network’s “Saturday Special” program, two prominent officers from the Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA) shed light on the agency’s products and improvements since its inception. David Lawal, from the Monitoring and Inspection Department and Branch Manager of the Ikorodu Branch, and Adetokunbo Akomolafe, from the Corporate Communication and Strategy department, spoke about LASAA’s role in regulating outdoor advertising and signage across Lagos State.

During the program, Lawal and Akomolafe emphasized LASAA’s commitment to ensuring visual excellence, safety, and compliance, thereby contributing to a harmonious and responsible urban environment in Lagos. They highlighted the importance of obtaining appropriate permits for signage of any kind, urging Lagosians to comply with regulations set forth by LASAA.

Lawal and Akomolafe outlined LASAA’s various services and permit categories:

1st Party Signage Registration This category caters to applications for on-premise signages for companies, business owners, and shops. Permit fees are determined based on factors such as the type of sign, size, and location and 3rd Party Advertising Reserved for registered outdoor advertising companies, this category allows for the deployment of permanent structures such as LED screens, unipole billboards, overhead gantries, rooftops, iconic billboards, and more. The variety of options aims to accommodate diverse advertising needs while maintaining visual standards and safety also Mobile Branding Advertising in the same way LASAA offers branding options for vehicles, bikes, trucks, taxis, and other modes of transportation.

Permit fees for mobile branding are flexible, with rates available on a monthly, quarterly, biannual, or yearly basis. The agency seeks to provide advertisers with adaptable solutions to reach their target audience effectively.

Lawal and Akomolafe concluded by reiterating LASAA’s dedication to upholding standards and fostering responsible advertising practices in Lagos State.
