Irepodun Orolu State Constituency Council Chairmen Unite for Peace and Development
IREPODUN OROLU STATE CONSTITUENCY, OSUN STATE –
May 16, 2024 –
In a collaborative effort to foster peace and development in the Irepodun Orolu State Constituency,
the council chairmen from various local government areas have joined forces to reassure residents of their commitment to maintaining harmony and progress within the three communities of Ilobu, Ifon-Osun and Erin-Osun
Hon. Ajibade Sikiru Oluwatoyin, Chairman Irepodun Local Government Main Council
Hon. Sulaiman Wasiu Kayode (Yaradua), Chairman of Irepodun South LCDA Erin Osun;
Hon. Alade Fatai, Chairman of Orolu Local Government Main Council;
and
Hon. Adesina Kamorudeen, Chairman of Orolu Area Council,
Have issued a statement emphasizing the importance of peace in the Constituency.
The council chairmen acknowledge the unfortunate events of past crises but affirm their dedication to preventing such occurrences in the future. Under the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke, the Government of Osun State has taken proactive measures to address issues and promote peace in Irepodun Orolu State Constituency.
“We urge residents and indigenes of Irepodun Orolu State Constituency to continue fostering peace and harmony within our community,” stated Hon. Sulaiman Wasiu Kayode (Yaradua). “Together, we can propel our town to greater heights and ensure a prosperous future for all.”
Additionally, the council chairmen clarify that there are no plans to elevate any Chief or Baale to the position of Oba, affirming their commitment to maintaining the existing structure and traditions cherished by the people of Irepodun Orolu.
The joint statement concludes with a heartfelt message of gratitude and unity: “God bless Irepodun Orolu State Constituency, and God bless Osun State.”
