APC Chieftain Hon. Tambi Oluwagbenga Salutes Teachers on World Teachers’ Day, Describes Them as Nation Builders

As the world marks World Teachers’ Day, a frontline chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Tambi Oluwagbenga, has poured glowing tributes on teachers across Nigeria for their selfless service and invaluable contributions to national development.

In a goodwill message made available to newsmen, Hon. Tambi described teachers as “true nation builders” whose efforts in shaping young minds remain the cornerstone of every developed society. He noted that despite challenges such as poor remuneration and inadequate teaching facilities, Nigerian teachers have continued to demonstrate resilience, dedication, and patriotism in carrying out their duties.

“Teachers are the silent architects of every great nation. Without them, there would be no doctors, engineers, journalists, or leaders. They deserve our respect, support, and recognition every day,” Hon. Tambi stated.

He called on government at all levels to prioritize the welfare and capacity building of teachers, stressing that no country can grow beyond the quality of its education system. Hon. Tambi also urged students and parents to continue to accord teachers the honour they deserve, emphasizing that teaching remains one of the most noble professions in the world.

The APC chieftain further used the occasion to congratulate all teachers in both public and private institutions for their tireless service, assuring them of his continuous advocacy for better working conditions and educational reforms that would elevate the teaching profession in Nigeria.

“As we celebrate this year’s World Teachers’ Day, let us remember that the strength of our nation lies in the classroom. Investing in teachers is investing in the future,” he concluded.
