In a recent move to enhance traffic management within Zone 20 P.W.D, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has rolled out comprehensive traffic guidelines and a list of approved bus stops for commuters. The initiative aims to streamline transportation and improve overall road safety.

A one-page document, dated 14th November 2023, signed by the Zonal Commander and Zebra, outlines the approved bus stops within Zone 20 P.W.D. The designated stops include Bolade Oshodi, Ladipo Bus stop, Shogunle, P.W.D, Airport, Ikeja Along Bus stop, Ajayi Farm, Mongoro Bus stop, Cement Bus stop, and Dopemu Garage.

Emphasizing the importance of adherence to the newly established guidelines, commuters are urged to avoid picking up or dropping passengers at unauthorized bus stops along the Lagos Abeokuta Expressway. The list of prohibited stops encompasses The Arena Complex, Alasia, Olori, National Filling Station, Dopemu Underbridge, and Pako.

Furthermore, commuters are reminded to comply with The Lagos State Traffic Reform Law 2018 (as amended). The implementation of these measures is expected to contribute to smoother traffic flow and increased safety for all road users within Zone 20 P.W.D.
