The Representative for Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency, Hon George Adegeye Olawande have met with Senator Gbenga Ashafa, the Managing Managing Director, Federal Housing Authority (FHA) over the demolition of houses in Abule-Ado.

It was resolved that Terms of Settlement will be worked out by the Federal Housing Authority which will be mutually beneficial to all concerned.

The meeting was held on Tuesday (28/11/23) when he visited the headquarters of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) in Abuja to further discuss the fate of owners of houses in Abule-Ado Areas which have been under demolition.

He had very fruitful deliberations with Senator Gbenga Ashafa, the Managing Director of Federal Housing Authority and the General Manager, Zonal Coordination of FHA, Barrister Hajara Kadiri towards resolving the issue amicably.

Hon George Adegeye Olawande is using this medium to empathise with those already affected by the demolition. Going forward, we would reason together to ensure that we don’t experience such an exercise in our communities again.
