Dr. Abdulazeez Olatunde Asserts APC National Chairman’s Immunity, Questions Alleged Removal Plans

Dr. Olatunde emphatically stated that no individual holds the authority to remove Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje from his position as APC National Chairman without the explicit consent and approval of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Drawing parallels to the removal of former Chairman Com Adams Oshiomole, he attributed Oshiomole’s ousting to President Buhari’s purported lack of political acumen.

Moreover, Dr. Olatunde asserted that similar tactics allegedly used against Oshiomole were being contemplated against Dr. Ganduje. However, he confidently declared that such endeavors would be futile, as the Presidency stands firmly in support of Ganduje.

Regarding the impending local government elections, Dr. Olatunde expressed assurance in the current structure of the APC, dismissing the possibility of any significant changes. He conveyed that the primary objective of APC’s participation in the elections is to maintain the party’s momentum, rather than to anticipate substantial shifts in power dynamics.

As Dr. Olatunde’s remarks continue to reverberate within political circles, they shed light on the intricate power dynamics within the APC and underscore the influential role of key figures such as President Tinubu and Chairman Ganduje.
