Osogbo, Osun State – September 13, 2023:

The Osun State Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan, has debunked the news of an unauthorized Google Form that has been circulating, falsely claiming to gather data on youths and youth organizations in the state.

In an official press release, the Commissioner’s Office expressed deep concern over the dissemination of the said Google Form and clarified that the Ministry is yet to commence any data collection process related to the youth population in the state. The statement emphasized that any data collection initiative by the Ministry will be conducted through proper channels and with transparency, ensuring that all youths and youth organizations are duly informed and involved.

Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan reiterated the commitment of the Ministry to engage with the youth community in Osun State and assured that a formal announcement would be made when the data collection process officially begins. He urged all youths and youth organizations in the state to remain vigilant and exercise caution regarding the dissemination of personal information through unofficial means.
