Ogun State: Ajadi pay homage to Fadesewa of Shimawa

Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, Chieftain of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), visited the Fadesewa of Shimawa, Oba Gbenga Sonuga, to express loyalty and respect for the King’s throne. He conveyed happiness at finding the King in good health and peace, introduced himself as a human rights activist, and discussed his history of organizing protests for youth liberation.

Ambassador Ajadi emphasized his commitment to humanitarian causes and the need for change through good governance, aiming to expand his efforts through politics. He criticized the concentration of power in some political parties and expressed gratitude for the proposed new salary for Nigerian teachers.

Oba Gbenga Sonuga acknowledged Ajadi’s achievements, encouraged youth to challenge the status quo, and expressed disappointment at the government’s neglect of Shimawa. The Ogun State NNPP officials highlighted their intentions for Shimawa and concerns about poor roads.

The visit marked an important moment in Ambassador Ajadi’s political journey as he aims to bring positive change and good governance to Nigeria.
