The Representative for Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency, Hon George Adegeye Olawande joined other dignitaries particularly the Igbos in celebrating the second edition of Ofala Festival hosted by Eze Augustine Ojukwu, the Eze Ndigbo in Amuwo Odofin. The historic cultural event was held yesterday at the Trade Fair Motel inside the Trade Fair Complex.

The theme for this year’s is Udo Kan Ma (Peace is good). According to Eze Ojukwu, the cultural event was put together to reunite the people especially the Igbos and Yorubas as a result of the fracas that happened after the last general elections.

Hon Olawande was warmly received by all the Eze Ndigbos from different areas across Lagos. They acknowledged his good works in Amuwo Odofin and also seized the opportunity to congratulate him for his Appeal Court victory.

Hon Olawande also reiterated that peace is a necessity and the best if truly we want to experience holistic and collective prosperity as a people. He further assured the people of his commitment to serve them diligently.
