The Christmas season is a revered period amongst the Christians globally. It’s a time that reminds them about the mystery veiling the birth of Jesus Christ.

In commemoration of this season, the Catholic Church of Annunciation in Festac Town had a Carol Service on Sunday, 17th December 2023. The people’s Representative in Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency, Hon George Adegeye Olawande was ably represented by his Personal Assistant, Ikechukwu Okeke.

He used the opportunity in admonishing the people that love as exhibited by Jesus Christ should be a value dear to us as Christians.

Love unites us with a common purpose as a people to sustain our humanity. It is love for humanity that made our Lord, Jesus Christ, to lay down his life as a sacrifice for our collective good.

Hon George appealed that we should show more love now than ever before, considering the prevailing economic situation. Let’s share the little we have together with love.
