CONFIRMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENT OF LABOUR PARTY CANDIDATE FOR EDO STATE IN THE 2024 GOVERNORSHIP ELECTIONS BY THE ACTING NATIONAL CHAIRMAN, LABOUR PARTY, PRINCE PROF, IFAGBEMI AWAMARIDI.

Fellow Party members,

First, I will like to make a clarification. Article 28 (3) of 2014 Constitution of Labour Party with a backdrop of section 84 of the 2022 Electoral act Mandates that it’s Candidate “shall” be the result of a Consensus PRIMARIES. So any candidate that emerge from any other method is a “Political Comedian”.

We followed the laws appropriately, and a Candidate has emerged as our Governorship Candidate for Edo State.

I seem to be comfortable with this irrepressible COMRADE that emerged. He has been in the 90’s member of CDHR, member of CD, member  of DRO, member of Redo Nigeria. In fact, in the 90’s , though not a “noice maker”, he was one of our surviving dogged, most trusted foot soldiers during the “Anti-Abacha” Political Warfare,.

I hereby, after all due processes being followed, confirm  and announce Pastor COMRADE Innocent Nosakhare Arise as the Labour Party Governorship Candidate for Edo State in the 2024 Governorship Elections,
