Oluyole, Nigeria – Hon. Akeula Kolawole Okunola, popularly known as Barthez, a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oluyole, has praised the Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Engr. Akeem Olatunji, for his outstanding leadership and unifying spirit. Okunola highlighted Olatunji’s success in bringing all Honourable Councillors together to form a strong and productive Oluyole Legislative Arm, a first in the history of Oluyole Local Government.

Okunola described Engr. Akeem Olatunji as an exemplary grassroots politician with unique qualities. He noted that Olatunji has lived up to his promise of repositioning Oluyole to its leading status. Since assuming office, Olatunji’s steps, actions, and decisions have consistently aimed at improving the lives of Oluyole residents. His selflessness, compassion, and dedication are evident in recent significant decisions he has made.

Okunola emphasized that Engr. Olatunji has successfully unified members of the Oluyole Legislative Arm, setting the stage for a productive, united, and historically significant term. He also commended the Chairman’s first batch of appointments, noting that they include outstanding individuals with impressive track records.

Urging the legislative arm under the leadership of Hon. Azeez Taofeek (ATM) to continue supporting the Chairman’s developmental agenda, Okunola called on new political appointees to contribute their best efforts towards the development of Oluyole, which is a top priority for Engr. Olatunji.

In particular, Okunola expressed his appreciation for the appointment of Hon. Sulaiman Akande Olatunji, also known as Lexyman Smally, as Personal Assistant to the Executive Chairman. This appointment has been met with pleasure and happiness by PDP stakeholders and party members of Ward 4 in Oluyole Local Government, who are proud to see their own son serving in such an important capacity.

Okunola concluded by praying for Almighty God’s guidance for Lexyman Smally, wishing him a successful tenure in office.
