
In an Exclusive Phone call interview with Starnigerianews.com Hon. Funmiso Babarinde, PDP chieftain in Osun State, extended warm greetings to all Muslim faithful across the state in celebration of Eid-ul-Adha.
In his message, Babarinde expressed gratitude to Governor Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke for his significant contributions to the welfare of the people of Osun, particularly during the Ileyah Festival.
Babarinde praised Governor Adeleke’s efforts in providing palliatives, such as bags of rice and rams to individual members of various Muslim groups, Leagues of Imams, Civil society and Organized labour and other essential packages, to ensure that residents could celebrate Eid-ul-Adha with joy and dignity.
He highlighted the governor’s initiative of offering free train rides for residents traveling from Lagos to Osun to join their loved ones for the festivities. “Governor Adeleke’s compassionate leadership and dedication to the well-being of our people are truly commendable. His palliatives and the free train service have brought immense relief and joy to many families,” Babarinde stated.
Additionally, Hon. Babarinde extended his appreciation to Hon. Sunday Bisi, the PDP Chairman in Osun State, for his effective leadership. He acknowledged Bisi’s role in strengthening the party and ensuring its continued relevance and impact in the state. “Hon. Sunday Bisi’s leadership has been instrumental in guiding our party towards progress and unity. His dedication and hard work are evident in the successes we have achieved,” Babarinde noted.
The celebration of Eid-ul-Adha in Osun State was marked by a spirit of community and generosity, with leaders like Hon.
