
The Ogun State Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) has finalized arrangements to present an endowment fund to the family of the late Inspector Temitope Olatunji Agoro, who served as the Acting Officer-in-Charge of the Mess. The presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, 9th July, 2024, at 11 am in the conference hall of the new Police Headquarters at Eleweeran.
The Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, CP Abiodun Mustapha Alamutu, expressed his excitement when informed of the initiative by the state PCRC Chairman, Ven. Samson Kunle Popoola (JP). Ven. Popoola initiated the endowment after the burial of Inspector Temitope, who was known for her dedication and friendly relationship with the PCRC.
Many PCRC members responded to the chairman’s call for donations, contributing generously to support the late officer’s daughter. The fund, amounting to five hundred thousand naira (N500,000), will be presented to her daughter during the ceremony. Additionally, the PCRC Ogun Command will donate a movable public address system to the Nigeria Police, Ogun State Command, in memory of Inspector Temitope.
The event will see the participation of the State Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Mustapha Alamutu, who will lead the police management team and top PCRC officials. The Ogun State PCRC leadership, under Ven. Popoola, has been lauded for this significant and compassionate initiative.
