African Democratic Congress Ogun State Debunks Hon. Ladi Adebutu’s Claim of Decamped Members

The African Democratic Congress Ogun State strongly refutes Hon. Ladi Adebutu’s claim that members of our esteemed party have decamped into his camp or his party, the People’s Democratic Party. As the official spokesperson of the African Democratic Congress Ogun State, Hon Olumide Onabajo, we want to clarify that no member of our party has defected to Hon. Adebutu’s group or any other party.

We emphasize that all members of the African Democratic Congress are loyal and committed to the principles and ideologies of our great party. We have built a strong foundation based on integrity, transparency, and genuine service to the people of Ogun State. Our members remain steadfast and united in their support for the African Democratic Congress.

We condemn the spread of misinformation and false claims circulating on social media platforms. The video released by Hon. Adebutu in Shagamu today is misleading and deceptive. It is disheartening to witness political actors attempting to gain cheap political scores by using our party’s name. Instead of Hon Adebutu to focus on his battle in PDP as he is ABOUT to be kicked out of the Party he is busy going around for a jamboree.

A person with the resources available to him who lost an election even with a Prominent Deputy Governorship Candidate and support of all opposition parties. Honourable Adebutu should focus on rebuilding his business showing an audited account of his holdings and business interests before he comes around parading himself as a leader.

We call on all political parties to refrain from peddling lies and using the African Democratic Congress as a tool for personal gain. It is crucial for political actors to engage in a fair and honest political discourse that focuses on the welfare of the people rather than manipulating the public with false information.

Under the able leadership of our State Chairman, Hon Abioro Itunu, the African Democratic Congress Ogun State has emerged as a party of choice. Our inclusive approach, visionary policies, and commitment to good governance have attracted individuals from all walks of life who genuinely want to make a positive impact in our society.

We urge all residents of Ogun State to remain vigilant and discerning, not falling prey to the propaganda being circulated by those seeking to tarnish the reputation and unity of the African Democratic Congress.
