CIPM Leadership Engages with National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies

In a productive meeting aimed at enhancing democratic governance in Nigeria, the President and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), Mallam Ahmed Ladan Gobir, FCIPM, led a delegation to the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS).

During the courtesy visit, Gobir and his team engaged with Professor Abubakar Sulaiman, the Director General of NILDS, discussing key initiatives designed to strengthen people management within the framework of Nigeria’s democratic processes.

Accompanying Gobir were several prominent members of the CIPM leadership, including Vice President Mrs. Chidinma Obiejesi, MCIPM; National Treasurer Mrs. Ogochukwu Egbuonu, MCIPM; and Registrar/Chief Executive Ms. Oluwatoyin Naiwo, FCIPM.

The discussions highlighted potential collaborations between CIPM and NILDS, focusing on shared goals of improving governance and enhancing the effectiveness of people management strategies in the public sector.

Both organizations expressed enthusiasm for future initiatives that could significantly contribute to Nigeria’s democratic and governance landscape.
