Hon. Funmiso Babarinde Sends New Year Message, Calls for Unity and Progress in Osun State
Hon. Funmiso Babarinde, a prominent chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State, has sent a heartfelt New Year message to the people of the state, urging them to embrace unity, hope, and collective progress in 2025.
In a statement made available to StartNigeriaNews.com, Hon. Babarinde expressed optimism about the future of Osun State, highlighting the importance of peace, harmony, and collaboration among all citizens, regardless of political affiliation. He called on residents to put aside differences and work together for the betterment of the state, noting that only through unity can the state continue to thrive.
“As we usher in the new year, I want to encourage all the people of Osun State to stand together in solidarity. 2025 holds the promise of new opportunities, and it is our collective responsibility to ensure that we build on the progress we have made. Together, we can overcome challenges and achieve greater heights,” Hon. Babarinde said.
He also praised the efforts of the current administration led by Governor Ademola Adeleke, acknowledging the strides made in the areas of infrastructure, education, and healthcare. Hon. Babarinde urged the people of Osun to continue supporting the government’s initiatives, while also reminding leaders to prioritize the welfare of the people in their plans for the future.
“While we celebrate the successes of the past year, it is also important to recognize that there is still work to be done. I urge both the government and citizens to remain focused on creating a state that is not only prosperous but also just and inclusive,” he stated.
Hon. Babarinde further stressed the significance of good governance, emphasizing that elected officials should always act in the best interests of the people they serve.
