INYC: THE PALACE RACKETEERING

In line with the vision of The Olu of warri Ogiame Atuwatse III for renewed and independent INYC to be established, a constitution drafting Committee was set up and this is to be followed by a free, fair and credible election to produce a legitimate and substantive INYC executives.

It is with great displeasure that Some Palace chiefs (particularly senior chiefs) have already endorsed (anointed) an aspirant (name witheld) and have been going to visit some political leaders behind closed doors whom they publicly malign.

The Palace chiefs should allow this process to go freely and fairly and allow the generality of Iwere youths to choose their preferred executive officers via a transparent electoral process.

Their recent action have once again proven that these sets of Palace chiefs are working against the vision of OGIAME ATUWATSE III for a properly constituted INYC and the growth of Warri Kingdom in general.

It should be noted that any attempt to impose and anoint any candidate(s) in this INYC Election process against the interest and choices of the general Iwere Youths will be heavily resisted.
