
ACPN Ikorodu Zone Hosts Radio Sensitization on High Blood Pressure and Stroke Awareness
The Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN), Ikorodu Zone, recently took to the airwaves to raise awareness on the growing health issues of High Blood Pressure (HBP) and Stroke. The sensitization aired on the popular Saturday Special program on Tungba100.9FM, Ikorodu, hosted by Mogaji Olalekan Efficient.
The expert panel included Pharm Abiodun Adediran, Chairman of ACPN Ikorodu Zone, Pharm Jimoh Adeniyi, the immediate past Chairman of the zone, and Pharm (Alhaja) Aisha, a dedicated member of ACPN Ikorodu Zone. Together, they shed light on the alarming rise in HBP cases and the risks of stroke, educating listeners on how these conditions can be prevented and managed.
Throughout the program, the pharmacists provided in-depth information about the symptoms of High Blood Pressure and Stroke, stressing the importance of regular monitoring and early intervention. They also shared guidance on the steps individuals can take to reduce the risk of these health concerns, including lifestyle changes, diet modifications, and medical checkups.
