
Hon Niniola Adegoke Hails Speaker Obasa’s Return as a Win-Win for Lagos, Describes Relationship with Governor Sanwo-Olu as “Rock Solid

Hon Niniola Adegoke, Special Adviser to the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly on Youth and Special Duties, has described the return of Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa as Speaker of the House as a “win-win situation for everybody.” This statement was made during his appearance on News Central TV’s popular program, Politics HQ monitored by starnigerianews.com
Hon Adegoke emphasized that Speaker Obasa’s re-election has garnered the full confidence of his colleagues in the House, enabling the smooth resumption of legislative activities. He noted that the support and participation of fellow lawmakers have been instrumental in ensuring that the House’s legislative business is fully operational.
Speaking on the relationship between Speaker Obasa and His Excellency, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Hon Adegoke described it as “rock solid.” He highlighted the synergy between the legislative and executive arms of government, which he said is crucial for the continued development of Lagos State.
When questioned about the ongoing court cases involving the Speaker, Hon Adegoke expressed optimism, stating that the issues would be resolved in due course. He explained that there are various mechanisms for settling disputes, including legal means and political intervention. However, he stressed that political intervention often proves to be the most effective way to resolve crises.
“Mr. Speaker is a man with a big heart who sees everybody as one,” Hon Adegoke said. “The most important thing now is for him to continue leading the House and supporting Governor Sanwo-Olu to ensure Lagos remains one of the best cities in the world.”
