STILL ON RESTRUCTURING NIGERIA

Most importantly, what we FIRST need to outline NOW is a definite roadmap with timelines, towards the new order that we advocate for a new Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Example (just thought of now, therefore not yet deep and very far from being perfect) may be:
1. Have a draft reviewed Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (perhaps that produced last year by Dr. Akin Fapohunda quickly reviewed the few days remaining this April 2025) *re-presented formally and with fanfare, noise, TV etc…in the months of May, June, July, August & September 2025, to*
– The President/Presidency
– The Senate
– The Federal House of Representatives
– The Chief Justice of the Federation
– Former Heads of State/Presidents of Nigeria including Yakubu Gowon, Olusegun Obasanjo, Ibrahim Babangida, Muhammadu Buhari, Goodluck Jonathan and Abdulsalam Abubakar
– The Inspector- General of Police
– The Director-General of the SSS
– The Nigerian Bar Association
– Afenifere, Ohaneze Ndigbo, PANDEF, Arewa Consultative Forum etc
– Governors of ALL States and Minister of the FCT.
– ALL States Houses of Assembly
– All Chief Judges of States and Federal Court of Appeal
– ALL Councils of Traditional Rulers In All States of Nigeria
– The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, The Nigerian Supreme Council on Islamic Affairs, NSCIA, and any national body of Traditional Worshippers
– Particular leaders of faith like the Primate of the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, Catholic Church Archbishop Matthew Kukah, The Sultan of Sokoto
– etc…etc…
2. Revisit the National and State Assemblies *from October to December 2025* to lobby for the passage of a new/amended Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
3. Get the new/amended Constitution assented to *earliest by 29th May 2026 OR latest by 1st October 2026.* by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, with proviso that it becomes effective for the purposes of ALL elections into and governance through ALL Government offices in Nigeria immediately after its assent.
CAN WE ALL BEGIN TO CRITIQUE THIS VERY ROUGH ROADMAP AND PANEL-BEAT UNTIL IT BECOMES REALISTIC AND PERHAPS A REALITY?!*
