Pathfinder Movements Chairman Celebrates Nigerian Workers on 2025 Workers’ Day, Calls for Improved Welfare
Comrade Finder Aramide Kehinde, the National Chairman of the Pathfinder Movements, has extended warm congratulations to Nigerian workers and citizens on the occasion of the 2025 Workers’ Day celebration.
In an exclusive interview with StarNigeriaNews.com Comrade Aramide praised the resilience and dedication of Nigerian workers, describing them as the backbone of the nation’s economy. He urged them to continue being good ambassadors of the country while striving for excellence in their respective fields.
“We appreciate the doggedness of Nigerian workers, and we salute their courage in the face of economic challenges,” Aramide stated. “Their contributions to national development cannot be overstated, and they deserve better welfare and working conditions.”
The Pathfinder Movements leader also admonished the political class to prioritize policies that would improve the lives of workers and ordinary Nigerians. He called on the government to implement measures that would alleviate economic hardships and ensure sustainable growth.
“The political class must do more to make life better for the average worker and citizen,” he emphasized. “Good governance should translate to tangible improvements in living standards, access to healthcare, education, and infrastructure.”
Additionally, Comrade Aramide encouraged labour unions to remain proactive in advocating for workers’ rights and engaging constructively with the government. He stressed the importance of dialogue and collaboration in addressing labour-related issues while maintaining the interests of workers at the forefront.
“The Labour Unions must continue to fight for justice, fair wages, and better working conditions. Their role in holding the government accountable is crucial for a balanced and progressive society,” he added.
