Coalition: “Put Nigeria First, Not Selfish Interests Pathfinder’s Movement Urges Politicians”
Comrade Aramide Kehinde, National Chairman of the Pathfinder’s Movement, has called on politicians across all parties to prioritize Nigeria’s interests above personal ambitions particularly on the issue of the country security. His appeal comes amid reports of a coalition forming to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections.
Speaking exclusively to StarNigeriaNews.com, Kehinde cautioned against political alliances rooted in hatred or selfish motives. “The news of a coalition aimed at unseating President Tinubu should not be driven by malice or personal gain,” he said. “Nigeria’s stability and progress must remain the top priority.”
While acknowledging the legitimacy of opposition, Kehinde urged the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to embrace healthy competition. “A coalition, if built on genuine democratic principles, can strengthen our institutions and deepen democracy,” he stated.
He emphasized that democracy thrives on fair contestation among leaders seeking public office. “The beauty of democracy lies in robust, issue-based engagement, not divisive politics,” he added.
Kehinde expressed confidence in Nigerians’ ability to decide their next leader in 2027, wishing all political parties well in their pursuits. “Ultimately, it is the people’s choice let their welfare guide our actions, also the area of Security challenges, the people of Nigeria have right to enjoy and experience solid and adequate security, that the paramount business of Gorverment is to protect the lives and property of its citizens” he concluded.
The Pathfinder’s Movement, known for its advocacy for good governance, continues to push for inclusive and progressive politics in Nigeria.
