Obasa Hails JANDOR’s Return to APC, Calls It “A Very Good Move”
The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, has warmly received Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, popularly known as JANDOR, back into the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Obasa hosted JANDOR on Wednesday at his official residence in Ikeja GRA, describing his return to the progressive fold as “a very good move” and a welcome development for the party.
The Speaker praised JANDOR for his courage and conviction, emphasizing that the APC remains the party that best represents the hopes and aspirations of Lagosians and Nigerians. He assured him of full reintegration and partnership in advancing good governance in Lagos State.
In his response, Dr. Adediran expressed gratitude to Speaker Obasa for the warm reception and pledged his loyalty to the APC’s vision. He particularly commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his bold tax reforms, describing them as policies made in the genuine interest of Nigerians despite resistance from detractors.
“It takes courage and leadership to introduce such reforms in the face of opposition. The President has once again shown his resolve to put the people first, and I fully align with this vision,” JANDOR stated.
The meeting ended on a cordial note, with both leaders pledging to work hand-in-hand in strengthening the APC and enhancing the welfare of the people.
