CIPM Ikorodu Chapter Inaugurates New Executive Committee

The (CIPM) Ikorodu Chapter has inaugurated a new set of executive officers to pilot the affairs of the Chapter for the next administrative cycle.

The inauguration ceremony, held on Thursday, 11th February 2026, at the (LASUSTECH), marked a significant milestone for the Chapter as members gathered physically for a meeting after a prolonged period.

In her welcome address, the newly inaugurated Chairperson, Aborisade Omobolaji, expressed appreciation to members for the confidence reposed in the new leadership. She pledged that the executive committee would focus on professional development, member engagement, and strengthening the visibility of the Chapter within Ikorodu and its environs.

Other members of the newly inaugurated executive committee include:

  • Ogunsanwo Sunday Oreyemi – Vice Chairman
  • Femi Afolabi – Secretary
  • Enesi Sarah – Treasurer
  • Oluwakemi Jimoh – Assistant Secretary
  • Jayeoba Adebukola – Immediate Past Chairman

The event was graced by the Lagos State CIPM Branch Chairman, Mrs Adenike Adeyelu, FCIPM, who was physically present to witness the inauguration. In her goodwill message, she commended the Ikorodu Chapter for its resilience and commitment to advancing the human resource profession at the grassroots level. She encouraged the new executives to uphold the core values of the Institute and work collaboratively to deepen professional standards.

Friends and representatives from other CIPM chapters were also in attendance, delivering goodwill messages and reaffirming their support for the new leadership team.

Members described the physical gathering as refreshing and timely, noting that it provided an opportunity to reconnect, network, and chart a progressive course for the Chapter.

The ceremony concluded with renewed optimism and a shared commitment to strengthening the impact of the CIPM Ikorodu Chapter within the human resource community and beyond.
