
During his appearance on the popular political magazine program “Politics Naija” on TungbaFM Network, Hon Kilamuwaye Badmus Bako, the Southwest Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), discussed the party’s activities in the South West region of Nigeria.
Hon Kilamuwaye Badmus revealed that the NNPP is fully grounded in the affected states of Oyo, Osun, Ogun, Ekiti, and Lagos. He highlighted that the party has started mobilizing members in these states, working diligently to expand its reach and garner support.
With regards to the recent Tribunal judgment in Kano, Hon Kilamuwaye Badmus expressed that there was no cause for alarm as the NNPP intends to appeal the decision. He stated that the verdict did not accurately represent the wishes and aspirations of the good people of Kano State. The party remains confident that the judiciary will ultimately uphold justice and fairness.
Addressing the issue of factionalism within the NNPP, Hon Kilamuwaye Badmus firmly stated that there is no faction in the party. He assured listeners that the NNPP would soon hold congresses and conventions to select new officers for the party, further strengthening its structure and internal organization.
“The NNPP is a united party, and we are working towards implementing democratic processes within our ranks. We believe that transparency and inclusivity are essential for the progress and growth of our party,” Hon Kilamuwaye Badmus affirmed.
The Southwest PRO of the NNPP conveyed the party’s commitment to upholding the principles of democracy and ensuring that the voices of the people are heard and respected. The party looks forward to engaging with its members and supporters in the Southwest region, as well as across the country, as it moves forward in its mission to bring positive change to Nigeria.
