ONDO STATE LABOUR PARTY PRIMARIES, A SHOW OF SHAME SCRIPTED BY THE ABURE LED NATIONAL EXECUTIVES

Abure led Labour Party has scammed Ondo State Labour Party Gubernatorial Aspirant says Ojajuni.

What happened at the Labour Party gubernatorial primaries in Akure Ondo State today, 26th April 2024, is nothing short of a disgrace, fraud, and total deception.

Prince Eniola Joseph Ojajuni, the leading Labour Party gubernatorial aspirant in Ondo State, has disagreed with the national delegate assigned to conduct the gubernatorial primaries in the state saying primaries never took place in Ondo State.

He stated that he was in Abuja at the party’s national headquarters on the 17th of April 2023 , where he paid #1,500,000 into the National Labour Party account with an additional #500,000 into the same account and on the 25th he paid a cheque of #2,000,000 making a total of #3,500,000 that he paid to the Labour Party account in UBA the same with Otunba CYF who paid #2,000,000 into the same account. Unfortunately, the Labour Party claimed to have received only #1,500,000 from each candidate.

Both candidates went for screening on the 25th April 2024 as stipulated by the party, and they were cleared to run only for someone to come from nowhere without a party card to scuttle the whole process. He was given a slot to contest under the Labour Party last year and could only get two votes for a so-called Vice Party Chairman for tye Souty West- Ayo Olorunfemi who has now been declared as the candidate of the Labour Party for the gubernatorial elections in Ondo State by Vet. Olawale Okunniyi.

I am totally disappointed in Vet. Olawale Okunniyi for this disgraceful and fraudulent act after he has called me to a private meeting informing me that the Abure led Labour Party said I and Otunba CYF should step aside for Mr Ayo Olorunfemi to be declared the winner of the primaries but we both swiftly disagreed that we opt for a primary to be conducted.

Mr. Ayo Olorunfemi , to date, has not shown any proof of payment, which makes him eligible to participate in the primaries, and I can categorically say Ayo Olorunfemi made no payment else let the party put his payment evidence in the public just like we have ours. Ayo Olorunfemi has been planted to cause distractions and to sell out our party as he was seen only two days at the governor’s office in Alagbaka romancing with the incumbent.

The question is, why did Abure kill the dreams of the people of Ondo State? My their destinies align to make you pay. As for me, I will challenge the party to refund my money.

The Prince Eniola Joseph Ojajuni Gubernatorial Campaign Council is consulting and will inform the general public of our decision before the end of today.
