Los Angeles Riots: America Cannot Afford to Be Soft on Unlawful Protests and Illegal Entry

In recent days, scenes emerging from California have stirred deep concern not just for what is unfolding on American streets, but for the messages being sent by those entrusted with public leadership. When individuals enter the United States illegally in pursuit of the American dream a dream so many across the world admire it is troubling to see some of these same individuals take to the streets, waving foreign flags, and participating in demonstrations that descend into lawlessness.

One is left to ask: why come to America only to disparage it or undermine its institutions? If such deep solidarity exists with other nations, why not choose those countries as destinations instead?

California has become a focal point of unrest, and the failure of Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass to maintain law and order is disturbing. Rather than unequivocally condemning acts of violence against law enforcement, the destruction of government property, and the looting of businesses, these leaders have instead shown sympathy toward the protesters. This is not responsible governance it is a dangerous political gamble.

President Donald Trump was elected on clear promises, particularly on immigration and national security. He vowed to restore law and order, to remove violent criminals and those residing illegally in the country, and to protect the integrity of American borders. His mandate came from millions who voted for a safer and stronger nation. Despite a contentious media landscape, his stance resonates with many Americans who feel their cities are being overtaken by chaos under the guise of activism.

The mainstream media networks such as CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, and CBC have consistently offered narratives that obscure the reality on the ground. They frame the deployment of the National Guard as an overreach, while downplaying footage and firsthand accounts that clearly show riots, not peaceful protests.

Governor Newsom’s suggestion that the situation does not warrant federal intervention is not only tone deaf, it is laughable. A peaceful protest does not involve the assault of ICE agents or the destruction of public infrastructure. If California’s leaders believe they can govern independently of federal authority, perhaps they should begin discussing secession. But as long as California remains part of the United States, the federal government has not just the right but the duty to intervene when state officials fail to act.

The bottom line is clear: if someone is in the country illegally and finds America unworthy, the honorable thing is to return to their home country. The United States cannot and should not be a sanctuary for those who do not respect its laws or its values.

Let it be knownregardless of political affiliation that America remains a beacon of hope for millions. The American dream is still alive, but it must be protected. Those who truly love the country should support measures that uphold its laws and defend its sovereignty.

Stand with law enforcement. Stand with national integrity. And yes, stand with President Trump.
