High Chief Ifangelist Adeifa Iwalesin, a respected traditional leader and cultural advocate, has extended warm felicitations to the sons and daughters of Oduduwa on the 2025 Isese Day celebration.

Speaking with StarNigeriaNews.com, Chief Ifangelist Adeifa Iwalesin commended the efforts of Yoruba descendants at home and in the diaspora in preserving the rich heritage, traditions, and values of their forefathers. He emphasized that Isese Day is not just a cultural festival but a unifying symbol of identity, spirituality, and pride for the Yoruba nation.

He noted with delight that Oyo, Ogun, and Lagos States have officially declared August 20th of every year as a public holiday for the celebration of Isese Day, describing the move as a historic recognition of Yoruba culture and traditions.

“Isese Day is a reminder of our roots, our strength, and the values that bind us as a people. It is heartwarming to see our states acknowledge this significance by granting a public holiday. I encourage every son and daughter of Oduduwa to uphold our culture with dignity and continue to pass it on to the coming generations,” Chief Iwalesin said.

The 2025 Isese Day celebrations across Yorubaland are expected to witness colorful cultural displays, traditional prayers, music, dance, and other activities that highlight the depth of Yoruba spirituality and communal heritage.
